Ella Casano is the founder of the non-profit Medi Teddy. After being diagnosed at a young age with an immune disorder, Ella constantly had to go to the hospital to get an infusion. She realized how scary the I.V. bag was every time she visited. In order to solve this problem, she started a non-profit, Medi Teddy, which creates teddy bear covers that attach to an I.V. bag. Instead of a patient seeing a daunting bag of medicine, they see a smiling teddy bear! Ella Casano had inspiration and decided to act on it and by turning her idea into a reality, Ella has changed many lives for the better!
